It was formed to provide inspection, installation, sales and service of material handling hoists and devices for the major manufacturers and companies in the Cedar Valley and surrounding area. For many years prior to starting Precision Services, our parent company, Magee Construction has been involved in the construction and installation of material handling systems as well as steel erection, fabrication and machine moving. Wayne Magee, the owner of Magee Construction Company, who is shown in the photos which were taken in the 1970’s, is an Ironworker by trade and has been a member of Ironworkers Local 89 for over 40 years. Over 10 years ago, our customers began asking if we had the capabilities to provide them with additional services which included the sales, service and inspection of the systems we had already been installing for them. We were, and continue to be, able to supplement our existing crews with extremely knowledgeable and skilled individuals with the necessary capabilities and training to perform this specialized work.
